Crayola's lavender

Lavender pink is the shade Crayola sells as its Lavender crayon. Wikipedia uses the longer name because the crayon is much pinker than other lavenders. The code #FBAED2 is a screen estimate of the crayon, as shown in the list of Crayola crayon colors. That list also notes that the current Lavender crayon has the same color as Crayola's Thistle.

A crayon that changed

Crayola has used the name Lavender for more than one shade. The crayon list shows a more purple Lavender from 1949 to 1958. The Wikipedia article on lavender says the old crayon was close to the color Crayola later named Purple Mountains' Majesty, shown here as lavender purple. The two sources give different codes for that early crayon, so treat both as rough guides.
